From what I'm hearing....

It seems that there are a lot of Indonesian manga....

Mind listing some of the good ones so I can sample them...?

Wind rider is a one-volume manga by Iis Yuniarto

in 20xx, earth is covered by acid rain so human must lift their cities mid-air above acid cloud...

And there was Rou, Roullete Ottovic, an acid rain cleaner who's in charge of spraying neutralizer so the cloud won't reach Aeropolis (City where Rou lives).

Rou's father killed in a high ranked race (Wind Breaker Competition) so Rou has an anger toward 'the wind'. He fell once from a tall building because he wanted to throw away his father's medallion, but saved by Ikarov (if I'm not mistaken), wo believed that wind is his saver.

Now Rou is getting excited about being a Wind Rider (Don't face the wind, but flow with them)

That's just a little synopsis, in his adventure he will face wyvern, flying fortress, e.t.c.

overall, not a bad comic indeed...

There are also education comic "Archi & Meidi" with nice artwork developed with help from famous physicist Yohanes Surya...

actually I bought it when I was at middle high school (about 3-4 years ago), don't know if it still exist in bookstore. If I had time I'll try to scan it (no promise)

haha, Naburo is not considered as a manga after all, causing so many controversy.

The drawing is very awful, with price of 30.000 IDR...
The author just redraw scenes from various comics, so we can find a character with many faces...

The author also write that he is the successor of Masashi Kishimoto's dream (That's the one luring the controversy), such a shame because Naburo is being used as topic for harassing Indonesia

Considering that it shamelessly steals the Naruto idea under claims that he is merely continuing the so-called "dream"....

Yes, Is Yuniarto which is the creator of 'Wind Rider', 'Knight of Apocalypse' and 'Garudayana' have a deviantart and he has his own website for his 'Knight of Apocalypse' Artwork and other related...
he even have his own channel in YouTube for his work ! XP

now 2nd volume of Garudayana has out now in bookstore ^^
and he was live in Surabaya ^^

I don't think you can find "Wind Rider" or "Knight of Apocalypse" in bookstore now, because I'm sure they don't have any stock of it....
(I find Knight of Apocalypse not in common bookstore - Gramedia / Gunung Agung, but in sale bookstore - Toga Mas / Uranus)

But I think you can only find "Garudayana" 2nd Volume..
just make haste of yourself you will get it..

but if you call the author itself, I think he will print it again for you ^^
